The Friedrich Schiller University is going to host the 29th Conference of junior scholars in the field of East European studies in Jena between 1-3 July 2022. The conference aims to bring together scholars from various disciplines focusing on Eastern Europe namely advanced students, Ph. D candidates, and young scholars who have already completed their doctoral research. The convention provides an overview of current research projects on Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia. The conference is organized by the German Association for East European Studies (DGO), the Research Center for East European Studies (FSO) at the University of Bremen, the Center for Governance and Culture in Europe at University of St. Gallen and the host institutions Imre Kertész Kolleg, the Chair for Eastern European History and the Institute for Caucasus Studies at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
