Upcoming public lectures on the war in Gaza

The Chair of International Relations and the staff of the MA International Organizations and Crisis Management would like to extend an invitation to our second and third guest lectures in our series dedicated to the war in Gaza.

On 19 (Wednesday) June 2024, Prof. Dr. James Gelvin, Professor of History from UCLA will deliver a lecture on the historical background of the Gaza conflict and on 26 (Wednesday) June 2024, we welcome Prof. Dr. Tom Dannenbaum, Associate Professor of International Law at the Tufts University, to talk about international humanitarian and criminal law in the context of Gaza.

Both events we be held in Lecture Hall 3, Carl-Zeiss-Straße 3, Jena, starting at 18:30 and ending at 20:00.
