Prof. Biermann recently gave an interview about a possibly accelerated accession process of the EU candidate Ukraine at MDR Kultur. In that he talked about hurdles that could slow down or end this process. In this regard Prof. Biermann gave a closer insight on the actual status of the other candidates Georgia and Moldova who have also made an application for an EU membership.
